Western Conference Final: Meanwhile, the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić shined brightest in the City of Stars on Monday, recording a historic eighth postseason triple-double to lift his team to a 113–111 Game 4 win over the Lakers and their first-ever Finals appearance. The two-time league MVP rightfully earned undisputed WC Finals MVP honors for his efforts.

• But Jokić’s moment in the sun was eclipsed by the aforementioned King James, who implied post-elimination that Game 4 may have been his last. It seems inconceivable that James would go out without a farewell tour, leading some to believe he’s leveraging for another standout player to join him in Hollywood. Watch this space.
