Dallas: Cowboys Season Opener Announced for September 9th
🏈Cowboys: Football fans, rejoice: we have a date for our season opener. The ’Boys will kick off their season on the road Thursday, September 9th, taking on the reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dak Prescott making his return against Tom Brady? Just like the Forbes 10 Highest-Paid Athletes list, our money’s on Dak to come out on top.
🏀Mavericks: Though they didn’t clinch a playoff spot, the Mavs did pick up a 125–107 win over the New Orleans Pelicans last night. The highlight? Kristaps Porzingis dropping 19 points in his triumphant return from the injured list. At least that’s something to celebrate.
- Back to that playoff spot — the race to avoid the play-in tournament is coming down to the wire. The sixth-place Mavs need a big win tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT vs. the Toronto Raptors to fend off the seventh-place LA Lakers. We live for the drama, TBH.
⚾️Rangers: The Rangers are off to a slow start this week, dropping both contests in their two-game series with the San Francisco Giants. Here’s hoping they were just saving energy for their Lone Star State clash with the Houston Cheaters Astros, beginning today at 8:10 p.m. ET/7:10 p.m. CT. Time to take out the trash.
