🏀Celtics: After a big 118–102 win over the Houston Rockets on Friday, the C’s followed it up with their Sunday best yesterday, defeating the Charlotte Hornets 116–86. Jayson Tatum led the squad with 22 points, while new guy Evan Fournier avenged his dismal debut with 17 points.

  • The Celtics will look to keep it rolling tomorrow against the Eastern Conference-leading Philadelphia 76ers at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Sixers have won both contests this season, so let’s hope third time’s the charm for the C’s.

⚾️Red Sox: There was only one Red Sox winner from opening weekend and that was pitcher Tanner Houck’s mom, who watched her son pitch in the majors live for the first time on Saturday. Sadly the fun stopped there, as the Baltimore Orioles swept the Sox, including an embarrassing 11–3 loss yesterday. Yikes.

  • The Sox have a chance to turn things around tonight at 7:10 p.m. ET in the first of a three-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays, where pitcher Nick Pivetta will face the Rays for the first time in his career.

🏒Bruins: Thanks to a hat trick from Brad Marchand, the B’s beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 7–5 on Saturday. They’ll carry that momentum into a two-game series with the Philadelphia Flyers, beginning tonight at 7 p.m. ET. There’s a lot riding on this rivalry matchup, as the B’s and Flyers are jockeying for fourth place in the East Division. Bring it on.
