🕜 It’s been 17 years
In 2005, “Don’t Cha” by The Pussycat Dolls topped the charts, Christine Sinclair had just graduated college, and BMO began its mission to grow soccer in Canada.
- Fast forward 17 years and Sporty Spice is teasing a major comeback, Sinclair is an international legend, and the Official Canadian Bank of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023TM has invested more than $25 million into growing the beautiful game. The future of footy is now.
Through initiatives like the MLSE Foundation KickStart Program, their work with CF Montréal to introduce a women’s program to the CF Montréal academy, and their founding partnership with the NWSL’s Angel City FC, BMO has supported equity initiatives for female athletes and underprivileged youth since the start.
- With backing like that, don’t cha wish your bank was BMO?
While Team Canada is working their butts off in the “Group of Death,” BMO is back home supporting the Canadian soccer community — and they want you on their team. Your mission? Tune in.
- BMO knows the number one way you can show your support for the red and white is by watching. Join Team Canada star Julia Grosso for the #BMOGrowTheGame campaign, and prep your victory dance now.
